Scope and Content
This collection consists of a letter written by Nathaniel Wiley Harbin to his father about the First Battle of Manassas (Bull RUn). Harbin gives an account of the battle, where he acted as a "skirmisher," and describes the rout of the Federal army and the supplies they abandoned during their retreat. Harbin includes a casualty list for his company and writes about the capture of Federal prisoners.

Roe while the brothers were serving in Company H, 15th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, during the United States Civil War.
